The boring but important stuff
How do you count employees?
A seat is an active employee — the end-of-month high-water count of people who aren’t terminated. User accounts for owners, managers, and accountants are free, and former employees stop counting the month they leave.
How does the monthly minimum work?
Each region has a 99 minimum in its own currency. If your team is small enough that the per-employee total comes in under it, you pay the minimum; the moment the per-employee total passes it, the minimum stops mattering.
How do the volume tiers apply?
Automatically, to the whole team. At 100 people in the US every seat is $5, not 99 seats at $6 plus one at $5. Cross a boundary and the bill goes down on its own — no call, no renegotiation.
What does annual billing change?
The price: you pay for ten months and get twelve. Everything else — features, seats, support — is identical to monthly.
Is anything sold separately?
No. Custom fields, the report builder, payroll, compliance, time sync, documents — every feature is in the one plan, for every seat. If HankHR ever adds a paid add-on, it will say so here first.
What happens after the trial?
You pick monthly or annual and pay by card. If you lapse, the account goes read-only until you sort it — your data is never held hostage, and export always works.
Which currency will I be billed in?
Your region’s: USD, MYR, or SGD. The price you see on this page is the price on the invoice.
